Silent Auction Success

Saturday night was a huge night not only for Farewell Paperie, but for my boyfriend, Justin, as well. His soccer club hosts a huge fundraiser every year called "Casino Night" where items are auctioned off to raise money for the club's scholarship fund. Justin was in charge if it this year and he did a great job. Everyone thought it was a success. To help promote Farewell, my partner and I participated in the silent auction and donated a gift certificate for our services. I have to admit, I was a bit nervous thinking no one would bid on our stuff, but halfway through the night I went over to look at our sheet and we got a bid! So, we'll be working on a new invitation soon. (We'll definitely post it once we get started.) I was also very excited and glad that people had the chance to check out our samples. It was a great venue for networking and we got tons of compliments on our invitations, so hopefully the word will get out there.

Here are some pictures I took at the venue.
